Health & Safety Updates

The Columbus Museum Health & Safety Updates

We are so excited to welcome you to The Columbus Museum.

We have implemented policies and procedures with the health and safety of Museum staff and guests in mind, and we want you to know what to expect when you visit.

What to Expect at the Museum

Please do not enter the Museum if you feel sick or if you have symptoms of COVID-19, such as:

  • a fever

  • nausea

  • vomiting

  • shortness of breath or difficulty breathing

  • a sore throat

  • been in contact with someone known to have COVID-19 within the past 14 days

We ask our Museum visitors to adhere to the following recommendations:

  • Avoid close contact with others. Please avoid close contact from visitors who are not in your party. Signage in some of our smaller rooms and galleries will give occupancy limits that will be enforced by our gallery attendants.

  • Wash your hands often and use hand sanitizer. Hand sanitizer stations are available throughout the Museum for your convenience and frequent handwashing is encouraged. We do frequent cleaning of high-touch surface areas such as handrails, doorknobs, faucets, elevator buttons, etc.

  • Wear a mask while in the Museum. Because the Museum sees many visitors every day, guests may wear a medical face mask.
